Veuo - Privacy Policy

Information we do not collect

Veuo does not collect any personal information. Specifically, we do not collect, request, or have access to:

• Your name, email address, or contact details
• Account credentials, because Veuo has no accounts and requires no sign-in
• Location data
• Device identifiers used for tracking or advertising
• Usage analytics, behavioral data, or telemetry
• Crash reports sent to us or any third party
• The contents, names, or metadata of the media files you play

Veuo does not include third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting software.

Your media files

Veuo plays video and audio files that you choose to import or open from your device, iCloud Drive, or other file providers you select. All file access, decoding, and playback happens locally on your device.

• Your files are never uploaded to us or to any server.
• We have no access to your files and never receive copies of them.
• Veuo does not scan, index, catalog, or transmit information about your media library.
• Recent Files history is stored only on your device and can be cleared by you at any time.

Network activity

Veuo is designed to function fully offline. The only network activity that may occur is:

• AirPlay: When you choose to stream to an AirPlay-compatible device, playback is handled by Apple's AirPlay system over your local network. This is initiated only by you and routed directly between your devices. We do not receive any data from this activity.
• App Store and system services: Standard licensing, download, and update functions are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy practices. We do not receive data from these processes.

Veuo itself does not contact any servers operated by us or by third parties.

Children's privacy

Veuo does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app contains no advertising, no in-app data collection, and no external links that gather information.

Data security

Because Veuo collects and transmits no data, there is no personal information held by us that could be lost, stolen, or misused. All processing occurs on your device within Apple's standard application sandbox and security model.

Third-party services

Veuo does not integrate third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics providers, or external services. The only external systems involved are those provided by Apple as part of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS, such as AirPlay and the App Store. Apple's own privacy policy governs those systems.

Your rights

Since we do not collect or hold your personal data, there is no personal information for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. Any data Veuo creates, such as Recent Files history, resides solely on your device and is fully under your control. You can remove it by clearing the app's history or uninstalling the app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Last updated date above and post the revised policy at this location. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
