Veuo - Terms and Conditions

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Veuo on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. This license is for your personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Acceptable use

Veuo is a media player that decodes and plays video and audio files you provide. You agree to use the app only with content that you own or are otherwise legally permitted to access and play. You are solely responsible for the files you import and play through the app.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or to play, store, or distribute content you do not have the right to use.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• Attempt to circumvent technical protection measures, digital rights management, or copy protection on any content.
• Use the app in any way that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

Your content

Veuo does not host, store, transmit, or provide any media content. All media is supplied by you. We have no access to, control over, or responsibility for the files you choose to play. You retain all rights to your own content, and you bear full responsibility for ensuring you have the legal right to play it.

Intellectual property

The app, including its design, code, interface, name, and branding, is owned by 3Nsofts and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

Veuo incorporates FFmpeg libraries, which are licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) version 2.1 or later. FFmpeg is the property of its respective authors. Information about FFmpeg, including its source code and license, is available at ffmpeg.org. The use of FFmpeg within Veuo is governed by the LGPL, and nothing in these Terms limits your rights under that license with respect to the FFmpeg components.

Privacy

Veuo is designed for local, private playback. Please read the Veuo Privacy Policy for details.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every file format or codec variant, or free of defects.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 3Nsofts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app, if any.

Third-party services and devices

Veuo may interact with Apple services and features such as AirPlay and the App Store. Your use of those services is governed by Apple's terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party devices, receivers, or services you connect to.

Apple App Store terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and 3Nsofts, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Updates and availability

We may update, modify, or discontinue the app, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. We are under no obligation to provide updates, support, or maintenance.

Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of them. Upon termination, you must stop using the app and delete all copies.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this location, with the Last updated date reflecting the latest revision. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which 3Nsofts operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
